  • Your Entry Form and your check, payable to SRAL for the full amount due. Be sure you sign the entry form and everything is postmarked by October 25, 2011.
  • Your CD, in jpeg format, and a stamped, self addressed (letter size) envelope to yourself, to be returned to you with the judge’s decision on your entries.
  • In addition, if you wish your CD returned by mail, another stamped (with the proper postage) self addressed envelope of the proper size should be included.
  • However, please note, all CDs not returned by mail will be available at the December SRAL meeting, and after that in the SRAL studio at the Springs.

All entries are to be submitted on a CD in jpeg format. This CD can be done on your computer, or take your camera chip/film to most any large drugstore or office type store, and have a CD made for a minimal charge. On the CD disk, write your name and the name(s) of each entry, using a Sharpie marker.

Important: You will be required to be present (monitor) for 2 hours at CPAC for each painting accepted for the show. This is non-negotiable. If you find you cannot fulfill this obligation, you must find a SRAL member to take your place. A schedule will be created for the duration of the show. Your schedule will be assigned on 12/6 when you check in.

Standards and Presentation: To be eligible, all two dimensional art forms must be original (no giclees) created within the last two years, and conform to the guidelines as described in “Show Standards” as publicized in the Happenings newsletter, and also available on the SRAL website (SRART.org). Show Standards describe the type of acceptable art and how it should be prepared for hanging. CPAC has restrictions on displaying materials that display nudity, obscenity, religious symbolism and/or metaphysical symbolism.

SRAL reserves the right to disqualify any entry, upon arrival, that does not meet the above requirements.

Sales: All art work must be for sale. CPAC will retain 15% of the sales and handle all of the paperwork for SRAL. Please remember this when you price your work. Paintings can be removed at the time of sale, and another approved/juried work will be put in its place. The price you indicate on your entry form will be the price on the art work. No price changes will be allowed unless negotiated between the artist and the buyer at the time of the sale.

Artist bio or resume: All entries must be accompanied by a bio or resume, to be delivered when you bring your art work(s) to CPAC.
