We need your help each month, in order to keep our studio open every weekday.  Please sign up to take your turn as a monitor at the general meeting, or call Georgia Doubler or Joyce Cox (see Contact link for number). 

The studio is open to all members during posted hours; in addition, artists with similar interests meet at the same time each week.  Please feel free to join these groups any time, or come in and work on your own.

Current scheduled Studio activities, in addition to Open Studio:

• Oil painting Monday 9:00 - noon

• Madera Artists Tuesday 9:00 - noon

• Water media Wednesday 9:00 - noon           

• Practice, Practice, Practice (drawing) Wednesday 9:00 - 11:00

• Life drawing the first Saturday of the month, 9:00 - noon

  • Sessions will resume in October unless enough people call Zeig to have him run an April session!
  • $10.00 per session, to cover cost of model
  • Model will pose for 3, 5, 10, 20, and 30 minutes. 
  • Please arrive at 8:45 to allow model time to set up.
  •  Practice your gesture drawing at first, then go for the detail during the longer poses.
  • Limited to 12 people, any medium except oil.

• Free First Tuesday mini-workshops, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

• Third Tuesday life drawing workshops, 1:00-3:30 p.m.  We will take turns posing for each other, fully clothed of course, for continued practice in drawing faces and the human form.
